Talent Match awards shortlist

Talent Match North East Awards 2018 - #TMNEstars

Nominations have now been shortlisted!

Talent Match North East will be celebrating the successes of young people, and others involved with the programme, at an awards ceremony on Thursday 17 May 2018.

The event, to be held at The Assembly Rooms, Newcastle, will highlight achievements in seven areas, including categories for youth coaches, employers, partners and, of course, young people.

We invited nominations for each category for just over six weeks, closing at the end of March with a fantastic response, receiving numerous submissions.

Our panel found it hard to choose just three shortlisted nominations for each category.

Award Categories:

Progression Award – Awarded to a young person who has overcome significant barriers or challenges since starting on the Talent Match programme. The winner may have moved into education, training or employment or will have progressed towards their goals since joining Talent Match.

Shortlisted nominations – Lucy Frost, Meagan Thompson and Sarah Craigs.

Youth Coach Award – Awarded to a Talent Match Youth Coach who has provided excellent support and guidance to young people on the programme. The award winner will have demonstrated outstanding commitment and dedication to helping young people grow and achieve their goals on the programme, ensuring their approach is tailored to the needs of each individual.

A winner will be selected from the shortlist by our judging panel, which includes a young person’s representative.

Well done to everyone who has been nominated, especially those making the shortlist!
